JK Rowling has announced her plans to kill off two main characters from the series and our sources have found out that teenage-sorcerer, Harry Potter, is one of those who will die in her, as yet unnamed, "Harry Potter" novel. The announcement will come as no major surprise to those genuinely interested in the series of books, but will shock and appall parents and children who have no experience with mythology and children's books. One woman we spoke to said:
"It's an outrage - I love that little fella! I mean, the boy wears glasses, how can she kill someone who wears glasses?"
Harry Potter is set to die alongside his best friend, Ronald Weasley, our sources informing us that it happens in a fight with dark overlord Voledemort. Potter and Weasley once again find themselves in locked battle with the dark wizard, possibly during a game of 2 on 1 kwiditch which the kids love playing. In true mythological style, the dark lord does indeed die and the good guys win - unfortunately, Weasley dies during the kwiditch match, whilst Potter dies along with Voldemort because they are linked in some way. Our source professed:
"The details are sketchy at the moment, there is some kind of bond between Potter and Voledemort and so when one dies, so does the other. It is, as yet, undecided whether Potter should lay down his own life so Voledemort is forced to die, or whether he does actually kill Voledemort and is surprised when he starts to die as well.
The next Harry Potter book is out sometime in spring of 2007.
